Palakkadan Matta Rice - 10 Kgs - PARISHUDD

PARISHUDD Palakkadan Matta Rice, also called Kerala red rice or Rosematta, is a parboiled short-grain rice grown in the Palakkad district of Kerala. Its coarse texture and earthy flavour make it the rice of choice in Kerala, Karnataka and Sri Lanka.

How to cook: Rinse well and soak for 30 minutes, then boil in plenty of water (about 1 cup rice to 5–6 cups water) for 30–40 minutes, or pressure cook, and drain. Ideal for Kerala meals with sambar and fish curry, kanji, idli, dosa and appam.
