Moong Dal (Yellow) 2.5 Kgs - Farm Bandi

Yellow moong dal is what many of us grew up eating when meals needed to be light, calm and comforting. Cleaned and packed just as it would be for a family pantry, this dal cooks softly and belongs to simple lunches and early dinners. Known as Pasi Paruppu in Tamil, Pesara Pappu in Telugu and Hesaru Bele in Kannada.

How to cook: Rinse well. No soaking needed: simmer for 15–20 minutes or pressure cook until soft. Use for moong dal, khichdi, pongal, payasam and moong dal halwa.
